VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer Review
Vaporizers No Comments »The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer was initially introduced into the marketplace in 2008 and is manufactured in China. Unfortunately it appears that the actual unit was manufactured by people who don’t fully understand the vaporization process, and this is the most likely reason why this unit has such a poor performance. It is a hands free direct inhalation vaporizer that makes use of the much maligned soldering iron heating element.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer appears to have a rather inaccurate temperature gauge. Some users have complained that even though they turn the rotary dial clockwise to activate the specific temperature that is required for the optimal vaporization performance, the unit did not appear to generate any heat. In order to produce any vapour you will need to turn the temperature knob to its highest setting.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer uses a hands free vapour wand that may cause you many restrictions. One such restriction is that your blend is liable to constantly fall from the vapour wand and directly onto the heating element. As the heating element it is placed in a vertical base, you would think that this would enhance the VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer’s performance. Unfortunately this simply is not the case.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer also comes with certain accessories such as the hands-free glass whip and five replacement screens. You will also find that the heating element can actually be protected by closing the cap over it. It appears the manufacturer has attempted to imitate both the Vapour Tower Vaporiser and the Volcano Vaporiser, but has failed miserably.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer requires approximately 10 minutes to reach the optimal vaporisation temperature. When you compare this to other vaporizers within the same price range, this can be considered extremely slow. The unit also does an extremely poor job of producing a vapour, and in most cases this is hardly visible. The taste also leaves a lot to be desired and appears to mainly be made up of a mixture of metal and plastic.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer comes with no manufacturer’s warranty and therefore if the unit malfunctions or is damaged in anyway, you have no other option but to buy a new vaporizer. When you consider many manufacturers offer lifetime warranties on their products, this may make you very suspicious of this model.
The VP-810 Pyramid Vaporizer retails at approximately $110, but unfortunately this is not a recommended purchase. This unit is constructed poorly and does a very bad job of producing a consistent vapour. You will find various other hands-free box style vaporizers that fall within the same price range, but are more competent and able to produce a far more pleasurable vaporization experience.
