Consumption Methods And Their Effects On Health!
Vaporizer and Health December 1st, 2008 There are several methods of consumption of herbs. The more popular of them are ingestion and smoking. The new method that is making waves is vaporization.
It is important to understand the effects of each of these methods, to make a decision that proves beneficial to the health.
Ingestion: Ingestion is a process wherein the herbs are sent into the blood stream in the form of pills, teas or by chewing the leaves and other parts of the herbal plants. This method is not very effective as it involves the ingredients to lose their essential properties that are beneficial for health, before entering the blood stream.
This happens because digestive enzymes break down the herbal elements and decrease their beneficial effects. There is also a time delay between the ingestion of the herbs and entering the blood, thus creating a problem with proper dosing.
Ingestion of herbs is a safe but inefficient way that may not eventually prove to be as beneficial as expected; although, it may not cause harm. Inhalation Through Smoking: Another most commonly used form of consumption of herbs is inhalation through smoking. The use of tobacco for chewing and smoking is centuries old. It has been used as a herbal aid, used during rituals and religious purposes, as well as a much sought after aid for recreation through smoking. Smoking is the most harmful way of inhaling tobacco, as harmful elements in the herbs are inhaled during the combustion process. The main thing with smoking is that the herbs undergo a combustion process, which means the herbs are burnt to create the smoke, and cause immense harm to the body.
Inhalation Through Vaporization: Vaporization is the latest technology that allows users to inhale the beneficial elements of the herbs through vapor from the herbs. There is no worry of inhaling harmful substances as the herbs are not burned during vaporization, unlike in smoking. Just enough hot air or heat is circulated over the herbs to create a harmless aromatic vapor that can be inhaled.
Vaporization is the only option available currently that allows safe herbal delivery without combustion of the herbs. Vaporization promises to be the future of herbal consumption and the best alternative to all the current methods of aromatherapy and drug delivery.

have you ever been to the place in Toronto that rents Volcano Vaporizers? they’re excellent. i truly love my digital volcano. the cost of the volcano vaporizer is not prohibitive when you factor in the savings you get for owning one as you inhale much less.
