Vapir Air One Vaporizer Review
Bad Vaporizers July 5th, 2008The Air One vaporizer taste very light. Do not be fooled by this Volcano Vaporizer imitation. The Volcano Vaporizer is a much better vaporizer than this fake. Plastic and cheap also. The older Vapir was made better in quality even though it was poor in use. Seems like Vapir Vaporizer is making a profit scamming the Medical Marijuana Community.

I disagree with this review. I have the One v.5.0 and it gives me really cloudy bag fulls of vapor. I, too was concerned with the plastic-like construction so I contacted the company and was told that the unit was made out of a high-temperature nylon-fiberglass compound and the heating element is quartz crystal encased in ceramic. If you do the research as I have, this unit is definitely among the better vaporizers on the market, especially given the price.
The older models (such as v.3.0, v.4.0, etc.) did have issues that are well documented. I am almost sure it is the older units are referncing in this review. You should definitely step up to the newest version.

I agree with Zubin! I have the Vapir One v5 as well. I could very easily burn the material and it took some trial and error to figure out the right settings so I didn’t cook it too much or not enough. For normal use you never turn the fan above low or medium (only use high for cooling) and I never exceed 370C temp. I use 350C/low fan for greans and 350C/med fan after that until the cartridge is spent. If you really wanted to you can make straight up thick yellow chokers from hell with this thing, I do not see how anyone can say it’s ‘light’ unless you left the temp on the default 250C
I have noticed an odd trend that most all of the sites that seem profit from reviewing vaporizers seem to knock this one for all sorts of reasons, yet the sites that are for user reviews or forums tend to be quite a bit more rounded out, with even a few really good reviews for this vape. It almost makes one wonder if a *certain* company who’s vape is #1 on every review site like this (and I must admit it is a nice vape) is paying people to bash their closest competitors… just speculating here

I love this vaporizer. I find that with the exception of the Volcano it is the best one i have used for the money. It has a expensive quartz heating element that with fine tuning will cloud up your lungs and mind.Very sturdy I have dropped mine at least 5 times. It can take some time to heat up especially outdoors in the winter.

i have this vaporizer as well and have enjoyed it for the last few years but am now looking to upgrade. The vape is more than capable of burning the herbs if i turn it past 370. The only thing bothers me about this model is that the smoke is transferred to the bag via a plastic tube that is turning yellow and i have seen get burned if it gets stuck down too far. I’m not a doctor but i can only imagine that smoking melted plastic is worst for you than any herb you might put in a vape.
