Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer Review
Vaporizers June 29th, 2010The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer is, obviously, manufactured by Vaporite and was introduced into the marketplace in 2008. The unit comprises of a vertical based heating element, is a hands-free style vaporizer and also uses a direct inhalation system. However this model can be considered nothing more than a poor and cheaply made imitation.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer utilises a two-piece hands-free glass wand in order to draw a vapour from the unit however many users consider this extremely substandard. The unit employs the use of a digital display that can be found on the front, although you may have trouble trying to achieve an accurate temperature setting. The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer employs an analog rotary temperature knob, which may well explain why you may have difficulties with the temperature settings.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer has a vertically based heating element, but this can cause additional problems once you have filled the chamber with your specific blend. A common user complaint is that the filling chamber is extremely hard to place over heating coil once you have filled the vaporizer with your blend. You may even need to keep your hand on the base of the vapour wand in order to initiate the vaporization process however you should be very careful that you do not burn yourself.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer can take up to 10 minutes to reach the desired vaporization level and this can be considered extremely slow in comparison to many of its counterparts within the marketplace. The unit will also take approximately 10 minutes to cool down which, once again, this is considered very slow.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer does not seem to have a very efficient temperature gauge and even if you reach the desired vaporization temperature, often no vapour will be produced. The only way around this is to use the vaporizer at its highest temperature setting. This should help to produce a slight vapour, although you may occasionally find that your blend will burn and therefore give off an extremely harsh taste.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer comes with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty. Although there are many vaporizers in the marketplace that offer this very same warranty, it does not fill you with very much confidence when you consider other models offer multiple-year warranties.
The Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer, at best, will produce an extremely inconsistent and low quality vapour. The glass vapour bowl appears to be very flimsy and also has an element of danger to it. Although this unit retails for approximately $87.99, it is not recommended that you purchase the Vaporite Elevation Digital Vaporizer.
