VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer Review
Vaporizers July 7th, 2010The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer was first introduced into the vaporizer marketplace in 2008 and is manufactured in China. This model is a digitally direct inhalation box style vaporizer. The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer is accompanied by a fairly frail soldering iron heating element. Although the digital display allows you to set the temperature in either centigrade or Fahrenheit, this unit has been known to cause certain problems during the vaporization process.
Many users have complained that although the VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer is set to the correct vaporization temperature there is little, or no, vapour produced. The unit actually has a fan that is supposed to help with the vapour flow however this has proven to be inefficient. If a vaporizer is accompanied by a fan this will, typically, help to push vapour into the lungs as well as cooling the unit down. Unfortunately no such response can be found with the VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer.
The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer comes with a free glass whip and an aroma bowl. There are also five fuses included with this unit for the user’s convenience. You will also find that model comes with five replacement screens and there is even an LED light which will indicate when the vaporiser is on. However many people who have used this vaporizer have mentioned that the actual vapour that is produced leaves a rather chemical type taste in the mouth.
The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer comes with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty that is restricted to normal use. Your warranty will ensure that your vaporizer is either fixed or replaced. You also have the option to purchase an extended warranty period which is typically $30 per year and $60 per two years. Although this unit is manufactured in China, the vaporizer is actually held and shipped from a warehouse in Los Angeles. This may provide some peace of mind with the extremely short manufacturer’s warranty that is on offer.
The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer, unfortunately, comes with many negative features, such as its inefficient heating element and the passive airflow system that simply does not seem to work. The VP-600 Digital Herb Vaporizer retails at approximately $150, although it is not considered one of the better vaporisers in the marketplace. It is likely that this unit may cause far more problems than you would expect for a vaporizer in this price range and it is therefore not recommended.
You have ample opportunity to purchase a vaporizer that is far more capable of producing a decent vapour and that will provide a better overall experience.
